This web based proxy provide us the anonymity to browse the web safely.. and also the other use of this web proxy is to browse the blocked websites such as Facebook, Meebo, Youtube and other websites that blocked by your admin or ISP

you have to be careful when using web proxies, as all your information is visible to them, select a proxy that doesn't look too spammy.
